English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up today. Please note and stay late to help.
Next week, our guest speaker is Rev. Timothy Quek, English Lead Pastor of North Toronto Chinese Alliance Church.
Wednesday English prayer meeting will join with the Chinese prayer meeting this week at 8pm. Do come & pray together.
Our softball team Providence will be playing their second last game of the season on Sat, Aug 13 from 6pm to 8pm at Warden Park against Richmond Hill Free Methodist Church’s Chi Rho. Come out and support the team!
There are no Awana Clubs in the summer until Sept 11. There is still a summer children program from 9:30-11:00am for age 3 to Grade 6.
Thursday night badminton activity will be cancelled in August.
Rev. Joe Chan will take vacation leave from Aug 9 (Tue) to Aug 18 (Thu).
Rev. Daniel Tang is taking vacation leave until this Fri (Aug 12). He will be back to church on next Sun ( Aug 14).
Ambassador for Christ in Canada will be holding their “Frosh Connexion” event with a BBQ for all the first year post secondary students on Aug 16 (Tue) from 5:00pm to 9:30pm at North York Chinese Baptist Church. Please visit www.afccanada.org for detailed information.

- Angel Wong from Carmel fellowship is serving with Simon & Eva Fok, MSI and mission team in Zhaojue, China until mid-August. Pray for her health, effective ministry & safety of their return trip.
- The Dali short-term mission team has arrived atDali, Yunnan and is hosting an English Camp for children & youth until Aug 13, Sat. Please pray for their spiritual alertness, and may they follow God’s guidance. May He protect them, lead them, and provide opportunities for them to witness for Him.
- A mission team from Toronto will go to help out a children camp with Rev. Manjohn Wong in Venezuela for two weeks. Pray that God use the mission team to spread the gospel.
