Bulletin for February 26

• Weekly English Ministry Prayer meeting is held every Wed at 8pm at church. Please come out and pray.
• English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up next week. Please note and come early to help.
• 2016 offering receipts(for income tax purpose) are ready for pick up now. Please sign for the receipt at the reception table after Sunday Service.
• Today is the last day for submitting articles or department reports for 2016 Church Annual Report. All the 2016 & 2017 elders and deacons are asked to take note.
• Last day for applying for June’s baptism is today. Please hand in application forms to either Pastor Darren Tsang, Cecilia Ho, or Philip Cheung.
• From the Elder Board:
• It is resolved to transfer $20,000.00 from the General Fund account to the Capital Reserve Fund account on December 31.
• It is resolved to approve the furnace blower motor be fixed for not more than $2000.00.
• Elders and Deacons Meeting will take place on Mar 11, Sat at 9:30am in Room 1-3. All Elders & Deacons please take note.
• General Meeting will take place on March 19 right after Chinese Service in the sanctuary. All church members are required to attend.
• AFC Teens Conference 2017 “If Only” Junior Conference (Gr.7-9) will be on Mar 13 &14, Senior Conference (Gr. 10-12+) on Mar 15 &16 at Richmond Hill Christian Community Church. For details please go to www.afccanada.org/tc.
• Looking for a good mission experience in the Summer? Remix Toronto Local Mission will be held from June 28 to July 2 (Wed-Sun). It is a five day interactive and hands-on urban mission experience designed to equip, train and inspire young people to ‘center their lives within the mission and message of Jesus’. Early bird deadline is on Friday, Apr 21. For detailed information, go to torontoremix.com. Please register with Pastor Darren or Philip Cheung.
• Joint Mission Convention JMC 2017 will be held on Aug 4-7 (Fri-Mon) at Mohawk College, Hamilton. The topic is “From the deeper life, comes the overflowing life”. Speaker is Dr. Gordon T. Smith of Ambrose University College in Calgary. Registration is started now. If you register within early bird period, which is until Apr 30 (Sun), registration fee can be reduced. You can pick up the form at reception table. Our church will gather all the registration forms, so please submit it to Derek Ng from Carmel Fellowship. Those registering from our church can give free-will offerings for the convention fee to our church, designated to “JMC” on offering envelope. B/S is encouraged to make free-will offering. If there is any question, please contact Mission Department.
• Children Summer Day Campwill be held on July 17-21 and July 24-28 (Mon to Fri) for children from JK to Grade 6.We will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship & Scripture Union this year. Early bird registration runs until Mar 12 (Sun) and the fee is $130; $150 after the early bird period. Registration forms are available on the reception table or church web site, please fill out the registration form & submit to Andrew Chan, Candy Chang or Gia Suen together with the camp fee (cheque). You are welcome to invite children outside our church to join.
