  • Today is Thanksgiving Sunday. We give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
  • Pastor Darren Tsang is invited by Café Church to preach for their Service next week. He will be back to the church on lunch time.
  • This month English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up on Oct 29. Please note and come to help.
  • Annual General Meeting will take place next Sunday, Oct 15 in the gym after English Sunday School and lunch. A list of eligible voting members has been posted on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. All members please take note and make every effort to attend the meeting. You can obtain proxy form from usher table. Agenda as follows:
  1. Election of nominees as Elders for 2018-2019: Philip Cheung, James Chan, Thomas Chang & Grace Tang.
  2. To approve 2018 financial budget (insert in bulletin).
  • Thanksgiving Night will take place at 7:30pm this Saturday, October 14. All brothers and sisters are welcome to register if they would like to share a thanksgiving testimony or song. Children program is provided.   • The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada, Justice & Compassion department released “Faith & Hope in Action” gift catalogue. In this catalogue, specific items related to needy people in four Alliance mission regions, Canadian region & global scope are listed.   • CCAC Badminton Tournament will be held on Sunday, Oct 22 in the gym. Detailed information has been posted on the bulletin board. Please contact David Chan from Zion Fellowship for registration.
  • Please continue to pray for the financial needs of the Church Picnic. If you would like to make a free-will offering, please specify “church picnic” on the offering envelope.
  • Our church deficit on General & Building fund is $90,000 at the end of August. Please continue to pray for our needs and brothers and sisters’ steadfast offering.
  • Passion to Reach Ministries will hold a Gospel outreach conference “GO Conference” on Oct 13-14 (Fri – Sat) in two places, Scarborough & Brampton. For those interested and register, please contact Pastor Joe. Detailed information please visit www.goconference.ca. Over 1700 people have registered! We have limited amount of tickets left, so please reserve your ticket before it is all gone. The cost is free since our church will be a partnering church for this conference (normal price is $20/person).
  • The Mission Hub, a shared workspace for individuals and organizations involved in missions and ministry in the Toronto area, will hold a one-day conference “Live Called” on Oct 14 (this Sat) in Knox Presbyterian Church in downtown.
