  • Last Sunday Annual General Meeting Election result: Thanks the Lord, we have elected Philip Cheung, James Chan, Thomas Chang & Grace Tang as 2018-2019 Elders and approved 2018 financial budget.
  • CCAC Badminton Tournament will be held today at 2pm in the gym. We welcome all of you to watch the games and cheer up for them.
  • Themelios @ City United– Friday, October 27, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm at Olive Branch Community Church. City United is a night of praise and prayer joint with youth groups all across Markham. Cost is free but students are asked to bring an item of non-perishable food to donate to the food drive there. See Pastor Darren’s post on this event at youth.ccac.church for more info.
  • Nov is Mission Month Sunday School; therefore, starting Nov 5, all Sunday School classes will be combined in one class until Nov 26. We welcome OMF to hold “Six Ways” Sunday School for us in rooms 1-3. To help the facilitators from OMF prepare for this course, please complete the poll questions inserted in the bulletin and return to Yvonne or your Sunday School teachers today. 
  • 2017 Mission Conference “Come, Follow Me” will take place on Nov 17 (Fri) at 7:45pm & 19 (Sun) at 9:30am. The speaker is Rev. Albert Lu, Missionary of the C&MA in Taiwan. B/S are encouraged to attend the conference and pray for the speaker, the messages and the conference preparation. Children Mission Conference also will be held in the same time and date. Mrs. Elaine Lu will be the speaker on Fri & Sun. On Sat, children will be packing up the Samaritan’s Purse “Christmas Shoe Boxes”. Detailed information about this will be released later.
  • Pastor Darren Tsang will take vacation leaves from Oct 26-Nov 14. He will be back to the church on Nov 15 (Wed).
  • Please pray for Pastor Darren as he will be recovering from surgery after tearing his Achilles tendon when he was practicing for CCAC Badminton Tournament last week.
  • Pray for the Elder Board to have wisdom from God to continue to interview Senior Pastor The Board will meet the third applicants by the end of this month. We ask the Holy Spirit to guide the process and give them united vision.
  • Our church deficit on General & Building fund is $100,000 at the end of September. Please continue to pray for our needs and brothers and sisters’ steadfast offering.
