Next week, English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up. Please note and come to help.
Monthly English prayer meeting will be moved from first week of the month to second week starting in Dec.
Congregational fellowship lunch will take place today in the gym after English Sunday School and Chinese Sunday Service.
Joint baptismal service including children will take place next Sunday Dec 3 at 10:30am, there will be no Sunday School, Snack Ministry and Awana Clubs on that day. Parents, please lead your children to have a seat in the children section. Children will only join the worship, baptism and testimonials sharing, and will return to the Orange program afterward. Baptismal candidates are: Tiffany Zhong & Anna Feng.
Christmas Joint Worship “Baby Jesus, Born to be a Savior” will be held on Dec 24 (Sun) at 10:30am. Please invite your family and friends to join this joyful event.
If you haven’t filled out the faith pledge form last Sunday, please get it on the reception table and drop it into the drop off box on the reception table. The goals for both the Mission Fund & Pastor Lewis and Felain Lam, ministering in Germany, are $116,715 & $10,000 respectively. Please pray for these pledges and His guidance to respond to the need of mission ministry for 2018.
2017 Year End Praise Joint Worship will be held at 10:30am on Dec 31, 2017 (Sun). Chinese congregation will have Year End Praise, Thanksgiving and Sharing at 2pm on the same date in the Sanctuary. Please join us to praise and give thanks to our Lord.
2018 Church Calendar “The Abundant Banquet of Life” is available for pick up at the reception table. Due to limited quantities, we are distributing one calendar per family.
Daniel Tang is taking a leave until Dec 1. He will back to the church on Dec 3 (Sun).
Our target set for Pastor Lewis & Felain Lam mission fund this year is $10,000. We have received $8,460 right now. A target for Pastor Anne Louie mission fund this year is $3,000. We have received $2,480. Please continue to support our missionaries financially and in your prayer. You can designate your offering to their name’s mission fund on the offering envelope.
Themelios Retreat will be from December 29 – January 1 this year at Countryside Camp. Forms are available at youth.ccac.church. Cost is $120 for registration and $115 for freewill donation plus optional $15 for a t-shirt. Please note donations must be written as a separate cheque. Deadline to register is next Sunday, December 3.
Finance announcement: Our church deficit amounts to $94,675 at the end of October. By God’s grace, we need around $34,000 offerings weekly from today to December in order to balance our forecast expense. Please continue to pray for our needs and brothers and sisters’ steadfast offering.
