Monthly English prayer meeting will be moved from first week of the month to second week starting in Dec.
Today is joint baptismal service including children. Children will only join the worship, baptism and testimonials sharing, and will return to the Orange program afterward. Baptismal candidates are: Tiffany Zhong & Anna Feng.
Elder and Deacon Meeting will take place this Sat (Dec 9) at 9:30am in Room 1-3. All 2017 & 2018 Elders & Deacons please attend.
Christmas Joint Worship “Baby Jesus, Born to be a Savior” will be held on Dec 24 (Sun) at 10:30am. Please invite your family and friends to join this joyful event.
Themelios Retreatwill be from December 29 – January 1 this year at Countryside Camp. Forms are available at youth.ccac.church. Cost is $120 for registration and $115 for freewill donation plus optional $15 for a t-shirt. Please note donations must be written as a separate cheque. Deadline to register is today.
Mission Fund Faith Pledge and Mission In Germany Faith Pledge (Original targets were: $116,715 & $10,000 respectively): Until last Sunday, we have received 11 pledge forms of Mission Fund for $9,090, 8 pledge forms of Germany mission for $700.
We thank the Lord that Season One of English Ministry Adult Small Groups has concluded. As we look forward to 2018, we will begin registrations for Season Two starting on 6 through our church website (www.ccac.church/eng/smallgroups/). Currently, we are planning for two closed groups (Wed. and Fri. evening) and one open group (Fri. evening) beginning in 2018. There is limited availability in the closed groups. Later in the year, there will be a grade 12 transition and university group starting from May to August. Outside of grade 12s and summer students, we encourage everyone to sign up as soon as possible. Registration will close on Dec. 20^th. Season Two will resume as early as the second week of January 2018. Please continue to pray that this ministry will foster meaningful relationships and spiritual growth.
2017 Year End Praise Joint Worship will be held at 10:30am on Dec 31, 2017 (Sun). Chinese congregation will have Year End Praise, Thanksgiving and Sharing at 2pm on the same date in the Sanctuary. Please join us to praise and give thanks to our Lord.
We’re hosting a one day “Work as Worship” simulcast on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. People can register through the website https://www.workasworshipretreat.org/. Click on “Attend Local Simulcast” and search “Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church”. A list of speakers and a promotional video is on the site to understand more about what this one day simulcast is about. If interested, please register online.
