The English Sunday School Department would like to collect feedback for the Adult Sunday School Ministry. Please fill out the short survey on survey.ccac.church before Sunday February 11 so your opinions will be heard. Thank you ahead of time for your participation.
Adult English Gathering: We are inviting all adults in the English Congregation to join us for Skating at Angus Glen Community Centre on Sat, Feb 24 from 12pm to 2pm. Skating rentals are available on a first come first serve basis at Angus Glen Skate Sharpening Shop. The cost to skate is $4.75. Please meet at the main entrance to the community centre at 12pm. For rides and further information, please contact Rev. Joe Chan or any small group leader.
The Family Ministry will arrange a special Children program this Fri (Feb 9) to allow our couples to have a date night. The program will be 6-10pm and dinner will be provided. The registration form is posted on the board outside Nursery.
Praise the Lord, Pastor Anne Louie has passed the ordination interview as a reverend. Our church will hold the Ordination Joint Service on Apr 22 at 10:30am.
There are a large number of lost or private items in the cloakroom. All items put in the cloakroom is now placed on the “Lost & Found Table” until Feb 11 (Sun). Afterward, the church office will handle the unclaimed items on its own.
Local Short Term Mission: Our church will, go to Toronto Alliance Church in downtown Toronto on Feb 17 (next Sat), provide dinner to low income or homeless people. Those who are interested, please go to tac.ccac.church to register or contact Thomas Chang or Adi Lau for detailed information.
Children Summer Day Campwill be held on July 16-20 and July 23-27 (Mon to Fri) for children from JK to Grade 6.We will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship & Scripture Union this year. Early bird registration runs until Mar 11 (Sun) and the fee is $140; $160 after the early bird period. Registration forms are available on the reception table or church web site, please fill out the registration form & submit to Andrew Chan, Candy Chang or Wilson Young together with the camp fee (cheque). You are welcome to invite children outside our church to join.
The location of this year’s China STM is once again at Dali, Yunnan in early Aug for round two weeks. If anyone is interested in joining the team, please contact Philip Cheung for details.
Application for June’s baptism is OPEN. Please hand in application forms to either Rev. Joe Chan, Pastor Darren Tsang, Cecilia Ho, or Philip Cheung by Feb 25 (Sun).
The deadline for submitting articles or department reports for 2017 Church Annual Report is Feb 25 (Sun). All the 2017 & 2018 elders and deacons are asked to take note.
