Pastor Darren Tsang is invited by Toronto Simpson Chinese Alliance Church to preach for their service today.
Due to Church Summer Camp, there will be a Joint Sunday Service on May 20 at 11:15am for those who are not able to attend the camp. Please note that there will be no Sunday School, snack ministry, children program and lunch on that day.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary this year, Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church will hold a thanksgiving banquet in the evening on October 7th (Sunday). Please reserve your time for attending; A special commemorative anniversary publication will be distributed too. We invite brothers and sisters to prepare articles and photos. Details will be announced later.

We will be hosting a Markham Plant Swap event this Sat, May 12 between 2pm to 4pm. Everyone is welcome. When you bring a plant, you get a new plant. Bring 2 then get 2 plants. Elder Board Resolution in April: i) It is resolved to try out the canadahelps.org for E-giving from the end of May to the end of 2018. ii) It is resolved to accept the resignation of Martin Wong from his deacon and other ministries’ positions. iii)It is resolved to approve the New Plant Swap Event taking place at our church on May 12.
Upcoming English Adult Gathering will be held at Archery Circuit on Saturday, May 12 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Cost is $30 per person but students can be subsidized at $15 per person. For more information, please contact Lewis Leung or any small group leader.
We are now fund raising for Anne Louie’s Mexico mission trip. She needs a one-time car purchase of $3,000, and her annual work fund of $3,000. Please designate your offering as “Rev. Anne Louie mission fund” on the offering envelope.
As the Dali STM trip cannot be conducted, the Church still encourages the congregation to continue to participate in different short-term mission trips. The Guangxi English Summer Camp in China (July 6-20), which is co-organised by the Richmond Hill Christian Community Church, is currently accepting applications. Children Summer Day Campwill be held on July 16-20 and July 23-27 (Mon to Fri) for children from JK to Grade 6 with $160 fee.We will partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship & Scripture Union this year. You are welcome to invite children outside our church to join.
Urbana 2018 “Discern your place in God’s global mission” will be held on Dec 27-31 St Louis MO. Super early bird registration starts on March 1 until June 30 at discounted price of $435 USD for post secondary students and $535 USD for others.
