Monthly English prayer meeting will take place immediately after the fire drill today. Bring your lunch and join us in the library.
Fire drill will be held today right after Chinese Sunday Service. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wait in the parking lot until further instructions. As this is a fire drill, regular ministries and meeting will resume after it has concluded.
Baptismal Classes was started last week during Sunday School time in the library. All who have applied or are still interested in getting baptized are asked to attend.
Family Ministry will be hosting a two days workshop on how to overcome misunderstanding, improve communication and strengthen bonds between youth & parents. The first day of workshop for parents only is today from 1:30-3:30pm. The second day of workshop will be for both parents and youth on Oct 27 (Sat) from 10am to 3pm. Annual General Meeting will take place next Sunday, Oct 21 in the gym after English Sunday School and lunch. A list of eligible voting members has been posted on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. All members please take note and make every effort to attend the meeting. You can obtain proxy form from usher table. Agenda as follows:

Election of nominees as Elders for 2019-2020: Jason Cheung, Arthur Wong, Carmen Ho & Cecilia Ho.
To approve 2019 financial budget.
To approve CHAN CHOONG & CHANG CPA Professional Corporation as our external auditor for year 2018.

Thanks to the Lord that the 30th Anniversary Thanksgiving banquet was held last week. If the congregation wants to get back the photo of individuals or families taken in the church or request a powerpoint shown at the banquet, please email to ccac30@ccac.church with your name, in order for committee to prepare the file; Also there is an amount of gift, table mat for purchase. Each costs $2, please contact Karria Ching from Carmel Fellowship if you are interested.
Our church forecast expenses is $738,951. Until end of Aug, we have received $366,731; therefore, from Sept to Dec we need $20,700 offering each week. Please continue to pray for our needs and brothers and sisters’ steadfast offering.
Our former Children Pastor Pastor Amy Yu will have a ordination service on Oct 21, Sunday at 2:30pm at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church. We are welcome to celebrate with her.
Rev. Dr. Joe Chan is on vacation leave until Oct 28.
