Bulletin for November 18, 2018

We welcome our guest speaker of the 2018 Mission Conference “World Cup Mission” Freedom and Emmanuelle.
Our target set for Pastor Lewis & Felain Lam mission fund this year is $10,000. We have around $2,000 shortage right now. A target for Rev. Anne Louie mission fund has been reached. As for the missions fund, it still owes about $15,000. Please continue to support our missionaries financially and in your prayer. You can designate your offering to different missions fund on the offering envelope.
Joint baptismal service including children will take place on Dec 2 at 10:30am, there will be no Sunday School, Snack Ministry and Awana Clubs on that day. Children will only join the worship, baptism and testimonials sharing, and will return to the Orange program afterward.
Elder Board Resolution:

It is resolved to approve the short-term mission trip to Taiwan in 2019, with its budget to follow.
It is resolved that the list of baptismal candidates for the Dec 2, 2018 baptism be approved. The baptismal candidates are: Luther Yuen, Amanda Li, Johnny Liu, Emily Liu & Steve Lau.

Our church will go to Toronto Alliance Church in downtown on Dec 15, Sat to provide dinner to needed people. Those who are interested to join and make a pot of soup, please contact Derek Ng or Adi Lau. Also, we would like to collect canned foods or instant noodles that are not expired yet. You can put the items in the collection box before Dec 9.
Small group ministry will be having a retreat this weekend at Sky Haven Retreat & Equestrian Centre. Please keep it in your prayer.
Our church forecast expenses is $684,361. Until last Sunday, we have received around $503,000; therefore, from Nov to Dec we need $23,000 offering each week. Please continue to pray for our needs and brothers and sisters’ steadfast offering.
