Bulletin for January 13, 2019

Today during pastoral prayer, we will especially pray for our 2019 Elders & Deacons of English Ministry. In addition, please remember our new Elders & Deacons in your prayer. They are Jason Cheung, Carmen Ho, Arthur Wong & Bobby Ho.
Monthly English prayer meeting will be held today in library at 1pm. We encourage you to come and pray with us.
New term of Sunday School was started last week. The adult course is “Introduction to Systematic Theology” in rooms 10-11 and the High School course will be as usual in rooms 2-3.
Starting this year, Canaan Fellowship will use rooms 8-9 & rooms 10-11 for lunch on Sunday; therefore, those rooms are available for booking after 2pm.
Application for June’s baptism is OPEN. Please hand in application forms to either Pastor Darren Tsang, Cecilia Ho, or Philip Cheung by Feb 24 (Sun).
We are still accepting application for short-term mission team to Taiwan to teach English from July 4th to 17th. Please go to taiwan.ccac.church to register. Also, during Father’s Day in June, two to four members will be sent to Mexico City for a one-week mission. Anyone interested, please contact Derek Ng or Thomas Chang.
The deadline for submitting articles or department reports for 2018 Church Annual Report is Feb 24 (Sun). All the 2018 & 2019 elders and deacons are asked to take note.
Anyone if there are any expenses for 2018, please submit the claim form by Jan 16 (Monday).
Pastor Anthony Yuen is now in Hong Kong to attend his father’s funeral service. Please remember him in your prayer. He will be back to the church on Jan 18.
