Bulletin for March 10, 2019

  • Today, our guest speaker is Rev. Aaron Owen from Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church.
  • Monthly English prayer meeting will be held today in the library at 1pm. We encourage you to come and pray with us.
  • General Meeting will take place next Sunday, March 17 right after Chinese Service in the sanctuary. All church members are required to attend. A list of eligible voting members has been posted on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. If you can’t attend the meeting, please pick up the proxy forms at reception table. Meeting agenda is as follows: i) Report of external auditors    ii) To approve 2018 financial report   iii. 2018 departments report.
  • There will be no Awana Clubs today and next Sunday due to March break, but we will have another children program instead. It will be resumed on Mar 24.
  • The church has decided to make offering to the Global Advance Fund on a monthly basis according to this year’s budget (about $1,700 per month). Since most of the mission expenses will occur in the first half of the year, please make offering to the Mission Fund as soon as possible.
  • Today is the early bird registration deadline of Children Summer Day Camp. Please fill out the form & submit it to the Children Department together with the camp fee (cheque). The camps will be held on July 15-Aug 2 (Mon to Fri) for children from JK to Grade 6.
  • Today is the last day to register for 2019 CCAC softball. Please visit softball.ccac.church for registration information. For any inquiries, please contact Chris Luck.
  • Today is the registration deadline of Secret Church 2019, taking place on Friday April 26 at 7 pm. This year’s topic is Prayer, Fasting and the Pursuit of God. Cost is approximately $15. Please sign up with Sheila Wong or any small group leader.
  • We are recruiting volunteers for Children Summer Day Camp. Online registration can be found at volunteer.ccac.church.
  • Administrative Assistant Karen Fung will take days off on Mar 19-21 (Tue-Thur).
  • 2019 Church Summer Camp will be held on May 18-20 (Sat-Mon) at Brock University, St. Catharines. The speaker is Rev. John Mah from Mississauga Chinese Alliance Church. The theme is “Losing Face, Saving Grace”. Children program and babysitting service are also available. Registration starts today. Deadline is Apr 7 (Sun). Please remember the summer camp in your prayer.
