  • Rev. Dr. Joe Chan is invited by Logos Baptist Church (Milliken) to preach for their Service this morning.
  • Next week, English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up. Please note and come early to help.
  • Fund Raising with food sale for Taiwan & Mexico City STM will start today during lunch time. If you want to help out for preparing and serving food, please contact Betty Kong (bkong01@yahoo.com or 647-525-9026) from Zion fellowship.
  • Summer Small Groupwill be starting on Saturday, May 4. This is the group for Grade 12 students and post-secondary students returning for the summer. To join, please contact P. Darren. The first meet up will be at his home. 
  • Due to Church Summer Camp, there will be a Joint Sunday Service on May 19 at 11:15am for those who are not able to attend the camp. Please note that there will be no Sunday School, snack ministry, children program and lunch on that day.
  • Our church will recruit summer students granted by Canada Summer Jobs. The recruitment content, application procedures and detailed information will be announced next week.
  • Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church will be hosting an English Kairos Course from May to June. Kairos is a nine lesson interactive study of the unchanging purpose and plan of God from Genesis to the end of the age. Focusing on the biblical, historical, strategic, and cultural dimensions of God’s mission, this course creates space where you can realign with God’s purposes. Kairos was designed and created for the lay person in mind, therefore it is suitable for everyone with a desire to grow in the area of missions. The course will be run every Tuesday from 7-10 p.m. starting on May 7th to June 25 and one full day on Sat., June 22nd. 9-4 p.m., for a total of 9 sessions. Participants must register for the course through kairoscourse.org under “Courses”. The cost is $125 CDN per person. Registration is open to all. You can apply for up to 50% subsidy from the church.   • We are recruiting volunteers for Children Summer Day Camp. Online registration can be found at volunteer.ccac.church.
  • 2019 Church Summer Camp will be held on May 18-20 (Sat-Mon) at Brock University, St. Catharines. The speaker is Rev. John Mah from Mississauga Chinese Alliance Church. Please pray for our speaker’s messages and the preparation of the camp. Also, B/S are encouraged to make free-will offering for the camp.
