English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up today. Please note and stay around to help.
Today is joint baptismal service including children. The baptismal candidates are: Vincent Ng, Andrew Junior Chan, Jamison Chan, Simon Feng, Isaac Kong, Steven Liu, Hansel Lui and Maxwell Sze.
Elder and Deacon Meeting will take place this Sat (Jun 8) at 9:30am in Room 1-3. All Elders & Deacons please take note.
Today is the last day for registering English Adult Retreat. It will be held on Aug 3-5, Sat to Mon (Civic holiday long weekend) at Five Oak Retreat Centre. Please visit smallgroups.ccac.church to register as soon as possible. This retreat is on a first come first serve basis as we only have 35 spots available. The fee is $200 per person and you can give the fee to Chris Luck or Sheila Wong. If a financial subsidy is needed, please contact Lewis Leung or Sheila Wong.
412 Fellowshipwill be pausing for a summer break in July to August. We will resume in September with the transition of the new Grade 7’s.
Please be reminded since most of the mission expenses will occur in the first half of the year, please make offering to the Mission Fund as soon as possible.
We thank God that our 2019 Church Summer Camp has been successfully finished. We ask God to continue reminding us through speaker’s messages. Also please remember our financial needs. B/S are encouraged to make free-will offering.
T-Shirts for SALE– For our church mission program, we are selling T-Shirts to raise funds. There are several options available. If there is interest, please browse at the table downstairs. The cost will be $20 per shirt, 2 for $35, a family of four would be $60. We have a few adult large and medium shirts available on a first come first serve basis. When our supply has run out, we will take down orders with payment. All ordered T-Shirts will be delivered before June 30. The sizes range from Children S/M/L and Adult S/M/L/XL.
2020 Elders Nomination Committee for 2 representatives from members. Nomination period: June 2 – June 30 (Sun).Qualification for Nomination Committee Members:1) Must remain as voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election.
2) Must have continuously served in a church position for at least two years.

For nominating a Nomination Committee Member:

1) The nominator must be a member for at least two (2) years and be a voting member in the previous General Meeting.

2) The nomination must be seconded by another voting member, and submit in writing to the Acting Senior Pastor, who is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee.

Note: this is different from qualification of Elder nominees.
Our church will go to Toronto Alliance Church in downtown on June 15 (Sat) to provide dinner to underprivileged people. Those who are interested to make sandwich and join, please contact Thomas Chang or Adi Lau. We welcome all youths who are 12 years old and over.
