Monthly English prayer meeting will be held today in the library at 1pm. We encourage you to come and pray with us.
Next week, our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Bruce Edwards, English Pastor at Markham Chinese Alliance Church.
Awana Clubs award presentation will be held today after Chinese Sunday Service. All parents please stay and attend. Also, there will be no Awana Clubs from July 21 to Sept 8. There will be a summer children program from 9:30-11:00am for age 3 to Grade 6.
General Membership Meeting will take place next Sunday, July 21 right after Chinese Sunday service. All members please reserve your time to attend. A list of eligible voting members will be posted on the bulletin board outside Sanctuary next week. If you are not available to attend, please obtain a proxy form on reception table. Agenda as follows: a) To elect Daniel Wong & Christy Tang as congregation representatives of 2020 Elder Nomination Committee.
Please clean up your own food in the refrigerators by today as we need extra space for the Children Summer Day Camp food team.
Post-Secondary Q&A Forum.For all parents and prospective students. Come hear our current students share about post-secondary life and answer all your questions about the transition ahead. Join us on Friday, August 2 from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm in Room 1-3. All are welcome.
Church Fun Day will be held on July 27 (Sat). Registration deadline is today. Fee for each person is $5 (age 7 and up), free for new comers and $20 for each family. Please submit the registration form and fee to group leaders or Tom Choi from Zion Fellowship and invite your friends & relatives to attend.
Rev. Dr. Joe Chan will take vacation leave from July 17-Aug 13. He will return to the church on Aug 14.
Anne Louie recently found a one-bedroom unfurnished apartment. Our church is now fundraising the cost of buying furniture and appliances budgetd $2,400. The period of donation is from now to July 28. Please designate your offering to “Rev. Anne’s furniture” on the offering envelope.
