• We welcome our guest speaker Randall Mah, from Wycliffe Bible Translators to preach for us today.
• Next week, our guest speaker is Pastor Kelvin Fung.
• English fellowships are scheduled to set up lunch and clean up next Sunday. Please note and come early to help.
• At last Sunday General Meeting: We have elected Daniel Wong & Christy Tang as congregation representatives of 2020 Elder Nomination Committee. Together with Rev. Daniel Tang, they will form the Nominating Committee with representatives from Elder Board: James Chan & Thomas Chang. Please pray for wisdom, as they try to nominate elders for 2020.
• Praise the Lord, Pastor Darren Tsang has passed the ordination interview as a reverend. Our church will hold the Ordination Service on Sunday, Sept 15 at 2:30 pm. Please reserve your time to attend.
• Are you interested in serving as an usher or on our AV or music team? Whether you’re currently serving or are interested, please fill in our form at worship.ccac.church. 
• Themelios will be going on break for Aug for training and will resume in Sept.
• Today is the last day of fundraising the cost of buying furniture and appliances for Rev. Anne Louie’s apartment. Please designate your offering to “Rev. Anne’s furniture” on the offering envelope by today.
• Post-Secondary Q&A Forum.For all parents and prospective students. Come hear our current students share about post-secondary life and answer all your questions about the transition ahead. Join us on Friday, August 2 from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm in Room 1-3. All are welcome. 
• For nominations of 2020 elders by church members:

1. Qualification for the Elder Nominee: a)Meet the biblical requirement (Acts 1:21-26, 6:3-6, 1 Timothy 1:1-7, Titus 1:5-9)    b) Must remain as active & voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election    c) Must have served as a Deacon(ess) for two terms (4 years)    d) Willing to obey and execute resolution of the Board of Elders or General Meeting.
2. Qualification of church member making the nomination:   a) Must be a voting or active member
3. Ways of Nomination:  a) In writing to the Nominating Committee, the Committee will screen the nomination     b) Written nominations must have two or more active members to sign for the proposal and seconded                                                                                                            Nominations must be submitted by the Sept 29 (Sun) to Nominating Committee. It won’t be accepted after the date.

• Elder Board Resolution in July: i) It is resolved to offer $6000.00 to ECD ($3000 for Canadian ministry and $3000 for DOB) and $2000.00 to CCACA from the Mission Fund.
• Application for Dec’s baptism is OPEN. Please hand in application forms to either Pastor Darren Tsang, Cecilia Ho, or Philip Cheung by Aug 25 (Sun).
