Today, Allen Chien will share his Taiwan short-term mission testimony.
Annual General Meeting will take place today in Sanctuary right after English Sunday School. A list of eligible voting members has been posted on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. All members please take note and make every effort to attend the meeting. Agenda as follows: i) Election of nominees as Elders for 2020-2021: Ricky Ho, Andrew Chan, Philip Cheung ii) To approve 2020 financial budget iii) To approve CHAN CHOONG & CHANG CPA Professional Corporation as our external auditor for year 2019.
Our church will be rented to Election Canada for polling tomorrow, Oct 21.
Our church will go to Toronto Alliance Church situated downtown on Saturday Oct 26 to serve dinner to underprivileged people. Those who are interested to make soups and/or join the event, please contact Derek Ng or Adi Lau.
2019 Mission Conference will take place on Nov 22 (Fri) at 7:45pm & 24 (Sun) at 9:30am. The speaker is International Missionary of the C&MA in Japan Pastor Henry & Wendy Chuang. B/S are encouraged to attend the conference and pray for the speaker, the messages and the conference preparation.
From Finance Department: We expected the total expenses for our church this year (2019) is $859,779 and as of September 30 total offering received is $515,758. We will need approx. $26,463 every week for the month of October to December to cover the deficit. Please remember and pray for our church financial situation.
We thank you for the sharing from B/S in thanksgiving sharing last Sunday. Also you can continue to post your thanksgiving items onto the wall of thanks so that we can sing praise to God for you.
Children’s choirs are now accepting registration to prepare for Christmas Eve. There are total of five practice times from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Sunday. For details and registration, please go to kidschoir.ccac.church or pick up a registration form at the reception table.
Rev. Darren Tsang will take vacation leave from Oct 28 to Nov 18.
