Bulletin for April 4, 2020

  • As ordered by the Government of Ontario, all non-essential businesses (which includes church) are mandated to close. Therefore, our church is closed now. But we will still hold worship online! We’ll be running livestreams during this period of mandatory closure. Please visit ccac.church for more information.
  • Since all of us will be at home for the next while due to COVID-19, we will be observing the Holy Communion on April 12th. To participate, we ask that church members do some preparation at your next visit to the supermarket for groceries. For the bread, any bread or even a cracker would be suitable. For the cup, Welch’s purple grape juice is more preferable since the vine has significance (John 15) and the colour reminds us of the blood that was shed for us. However, if that is not possible, any drink would be fine. As a church, we want to observe the Holy Communion as it was an ordinance from Christ to remember symbolically the Lord’s death and sacrifice (1 Cor. 11). Other than April, the subsequent months e.g. May and onwards, we will observe the Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
  • The English Ministry will hold a large Sunday School class for both youth and adults online on ZOOM at 11:15 a.m. More details and information is posted on the church website and Facebook.
  • Good Friday Service will be streamed online this Friday, on April 10th in partnership with SCAC and a few others churches. Please check church web site for details.
  • The English Ministry prayer meeting will begin online weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. We will post the ZOOM information on the church website. All are welcome to join. Let us come together and pray for the world, our church, families, and individuals during these unprecedented times.
