Bulletin for June 21, 2020

• Happy Father’s Day. Words are never enough to thank all that our Fathers do. We ask our God to bless them with love and care.
• As ordered by the Government of Ontario, all non-essential businesses (which includes church) are mandated to close. Therefore, our church is closed now. But we will still hold worship online! We’ll be running livestreams during this period of mandatory closure. Please visit ccac.church for more information.
• The English Ministry is holding a large Sunday School class for both youth and adults online on ZOOM at 11:15 a.m. More details and information are posted on the church website and Facebook.   
• The English Ministry prayer meeting is online weekly on Thursdays at 8 p.m on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join. Let us come together and pray for the world, our church, families, and individuals during these unprecedented times.
• The Ontario Government has allowed churches to reopen at 30% building capacity. The church has developed a questionnaire to collect the opinions to help leadership make appropriate arrangements and plans. We encourage you to go to the following link survey.ccac.church to fill out the short questionnaire.
• 2021 Elders Nomination Committee for 2 representatives from members. Nomination period: June 7 – June 28 (Sun).

Ø Qualification for Nomination Committee Members:

1) Must remain as voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election.

2) Must have continuously served in a church position for at least two years.

Ø For nominating a Nomination Committee Member:

1) The nominator must be a member for at least two (2) years and be a voting member in the previous General Meeting.

2) The nomination must be seconded by another voting member, and submit in writing to the Acting Senior Pastor, who is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee.

Note: this is different from qualification of Elder nominees.

• Due to the cancellation of Sunday Services at church and closure of the church office, you can use the following methods to make Tithes and Offerings:
  1. Online Donation – Please visit give.ccac.church for detailed information on how to give online.
  2. Mailing Cheque – Please write down how the funds are to be allocated with personal information on a personal note. Then, mail both the cheque and note to the church (4757 14^th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K3).
  3. Drop Off – If dropping off a cheque to the church in person, please contact the church office first before coming. Our staff will need to arrange with you.

Please Note: For the time being, the weekly offering report will be changed to a monthly offering report until we are able to hold Sunday Service in the physical church building. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
