- Our church is still closed now. But we still hold worship online! We’ll be running livestreams during this period of closure. Please visit ccac.church for more information.
- The English Ministry is holding a large Sunday School class for both youth and adults online on ZOOM at 11:15 a.m. More details and information are posted on the church website and Facebook.
- The English Ministry prayer meeting is online weekly on Thursdays at 8 p.m on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join. Let us come together and pray for the world, our church, families, and individuals during these unprecedented times.
- Next Sunday is Communion Sunday. We ask that church members prepare bread/cracker and grape juice to remember the Lord’s death.
- At last Sunday Online General Assembly: We have elected Ivan Wong & Alvin Fung as congregation representatives of 2021 Elder Nomination Committee. Together with Rev. Daniel Tang, they will form the Nominating Committee with representatives from Elder Board: Andrew Chan & Philip Cheung. Please pray for wisdom, as they try to nominate elders for 2021.
- For nominations of 2021 elders by church members: I) Qualification for the Elder Nominee: a) Meet the biblical requirement (Acts 1:21-26, 6:3-6, 1 Timothy 1:1-7, Titus 1:5-9) b) Must remain as active & voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election c)Must have served as a Deacon(ess) for two terms (4 years) d) Willing to obey and execute resolution of the Board of Elders or General Meeting. II) Qualification of church member making the nomination: a) Must be a voting or active member III) Ways of Nomination: a) In writing to the Nominating Committee, the Committee will screen the nomination b) Written nominations must have two or more active members to sign for the proposal and seconded. Nominations must be submitted by the Sept 27 (Sun) to Nominating Committee. It won’t be accepted after the date.
- Due to the cancellation of Sunday Services at church and closure of the church office, you can use the following methods to make Tithes and Offerings:
- Online Donation – Please visit give.ccac.church for detailed information on how to give online.
- Mailing Cheque – Please write down how the funds are to be allocated with personal information on a personal note. Then, mail both the cheque and note to the church (4757 14th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K3).
- Drop Off – If dropping off a cheque to the church in person, please contact the church office first before coming. Our staff will need to arrange with you.
Please Note: For the time being, the weekly offering report will be changed to a monthly offering report until we are able to hold Sunday Service in the physical church building. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.
