- On site English Service is still not available. But we still hold worship online! We’ll be running livestreams during this period of closure. Please visit ccac.church for more information.
- English Sunday School will be taking a break from Aug. 23-Sept. 6 inclusive. We will resume Sunday School on Sept. 13th with the topic TBA later.
- The English Ministry prayer meeting is online weekly on Thursdays at 8 p.m on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join. Let us come together and pray for the world, our church, families, and individuals during these unprecedented times.
- Next Sunday is Communion Sunday. We ask that church members prepare bread/cracker and grape juice to remember the Lord’s death.
- 412 and Themelios will be launching into the new school year starting Friday, September 4. We welcome all the new Grade 7’s to join 412 and all the new Grade 9’s to join Themelios. For more information, please go to youth.ccac.church and also join our mailing list there to keep informed of all the latest updates.
- Church Re-Opening Stage 1: Our church will open for Chinese Sunday Services starting next week, in Sept at 11:15am. Everyone will require to register from the following link: rsvp.ccac.church. The online registration form will be available on every Thursday and closed on every Sunday at 8am. For those who have registered successfully, a confirmation and registration number will be sent out via email. There will be a limit of 50 people and the online registration will be closed once this number has been reached.
- Rev. Joe Chan is taking vacation leave until Sept 1.
- Rev. Daniel Tang is taking vacation leave until Sept 6.
- For nominations of 2021 elders by church members: I) Qualification for the Elder Nominee: Meet the biblical requirement (Acts 1:21-26, 6:3-6, 1 Timothy 1:1-7, Titus 1:5-9) Must remain as active & voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election. Must have served as a Deacon(ess) for two terms (4 years). Willing to obey and execute resolution of the Board of Elders or General Meeting. II) Qualification of church member making the nomination: Must be a voting or active member. III) Ways of Nomination: In writing to the Nominating Committee, the Committee will screen the nomination. Written nominations must have two or more active members to sign for the proposal and seconded. Nominations must be submitted by the Sept 27 (Sun) to Nominating Committee. It won’t be accepted after the date.
- Due to the cancellation of English Sunday Services at church, you can use the following methods to make Tithes and Offerings:
- Online Donation – Please visit give.ccac.church for detailed information on how to give online.
- Mailing Cheque – Please write down how the funds are to be allocated with personal information on a personal note. Then, mail both the cheque and note to the church (4757 14th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K3).
- Drop Off – If dropping off a cheque to the church in person, please contact the church office first before coming. Our staff will need to arrange with you.
