- York Region has been placed into lockdown under Ontario’s COVID-19 colour-coded system, moving from the red zone into the grey zone next Monday. Therefore, on-site English Service will be cancelled starting next Sunday, Dec 20. The livestream of the worship will still run during lockdown. Please visit ccac.church for detailed information.
- Elder Board Resolution: i) It is resolved that Hilary Ho has been approved to get baptized.
- Senior Pastor Searching Updates: The pastoral searching committee has met with a Senior Pastor applicant and recommended to the Elder Board. The Elder Board will meet with this senior pastor applicant this month. Please pray for this meeting, pray for the Elder Board to have good communication, sharing and good understanding with this senior pastor applicant.
- Christmas Online Joint Worship with Children will be held next Sunday, Dec 20, Sunday at 10:30am.Please invite your family and friends to join this joyful event.
- The English Ministry prayer meeting is online weekly on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join. In addition, there will be no English Prayer Meeting on Dec. 24th and 31st as it falls on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, respectively. English Prayer Meeting will resume in the New Year on Jan. 7th at 8 p.m.
- Due to the closure of on-site English Sunday Service, you can use the following methods to make Tithes and Offerings: 1) Please visit give.ccac.church for detailed information on how to give online. 2) Please write down how the funds are to be allocated with personal information on a personal note. Then, mail both the cheque and note to the church (4757 14th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K3). 3) If dropping off a cheque to the church in person, please contact the church office first before coming. Our staff will need to arrange with you.
