Bulletin for January 10, 2021

  • York Region has been moved from the red zone into the grey zone. Therefore, on-site English Service is now cancelled until further notice. The livestream of the worship will still run during lockdown. Please visit ccac.church for detailed information.
  • Our church building is closed to everyone from now until this Tuesday (January 12th) and will be reopened the next day to those who need to serve in the church building. All brothers and sisters are requested not to enter the church building during the above time. If you have a special urgent need to enter the facility, please contact any of our pastors first.
  • English Online Prayer Meeting is on Thursdays weekly at 8 p.m. on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.  
  • The deadline for submitting articles or department reports for 2020 Church Annual Report is Feb 28 (Sun). All the 2020 & 2021 elders and deacons are asked to take note.
  • English Sunday School is taking a break and will resume next Sunday, January 17th.
  • If anyone has any expenses for 2020 that they would like to claim, please submit the claim form by today.
  • Senior Pastor Searching Updates: The pastoral searching committee has met with a Senior Pastor applicant and recommended to the Elder Board. The Elder Board will meet with this senior pastor applicant. Please pray for this meeting, pray for the Elder Board to have good communication, sharing and good understanding with this senior pastor applicant.
  • Due to the closure of on-site English Sunday Service, you can use the following methods to make Tithes and Offerings: 1) Online Donation – Please visit give.ccac.church for detailed information on how to give online. 2) Mailing Cheque – Please write down how the funds are to be allocated with personal information on a personal note. Then, mail both the cheque and note to the church (4757 14th Ave, Markham, ON L3S 3K3). 3) Drop Off – If dropping off a cheque to the church in person, please contact the church office first before coming. Our staff will need to arrange with you.
  • Ontario is entering into lock down. Schools will be closed down after Christmas holidays. We ask God give us faith to look upon Him during the pandemic, and pray that all the people follow the guidelines to stop the transmission of the virus.
