Bulletin for March 21, 2021

  • York region is now classified as a ‘red zone’ which will allow easing of some restrictions. Toronto and Peel region is now in grey zone. Therefore, our church on-site English Service is currently cancelled until further notice. The livestream of the worship will still run. Please visit ccac.church for detailed information.
  • Next week, our guest speaker is Rev. Alvin Lau, from CBOQ.
  • English Online Prayer Meeting is on Thursdays weekly at 8 p.m. on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.  
  • Annual General Meeting will be held next Sunday at 1:30 pm online on Zoom. Two emails have been sent to all eligible voting members with access links and verification code for voting. Members are required to do one of the following and submit the form by Mar 27th at 10pm: a. Complete the voting form and personally attend the meeting on ZOOM; or b. Complete the voting form and assign a proxy to attend the meeting on their behalf. (proxy must assign to active member). Please note that only the votes of those who attend (either personally or by proxy) will be counted. Members who only complete the form without attending or assigning a proxy will not have their ballots counted. These are the requirements per our by-Laws. Should you have any questions, please contact Rev. Joe and Rev. Darren.   • Secret Church, a conference focusing on the plight of the persecuted church, will be held again this year on April 23, starting at 7:00 pm. For those interested, please sign up with P. Darren. Cost will be about $15, depending on how many register.
  • Good Friday Service will be streamed online on April 2nd at 7:30pm in partnership with other Alliance churches. Detailed information will be released on our church web site.
  • Pastor Anthony Yuen is taking vacation leave until Mar 30.

  • Children Summer Day Camp will be held on July 19-30 (Mon to Fri) for children from JK to Grade 6. Application forms and detailed information will be released later.
  • Senior Pastor Search Update: The Board has already met with a senior pastor applicant for the third time in mid-February. The Board is still discussing and praying. May the Lord lead and take charge in this discerning process and help the church and the Board. Please continue to pray for our church and the search process.
