- Today is Communion Sunday. We ask that church members who are online to prepare bread/cracker and grape juice to remember the Lord’s death.
- English Online Prayer Meeting is every Thursday at 8 p.m. on ZOOM. Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.
- GoVaxx, the mobile vaccine clinic will use our church parking lot to vaccinate people in the community tomorrow, Feb 7. All vaccinations need to be booked online starting on Sunday, Feb 6th at 8 am. Please go to the following website or call 1- 833-943-3900 to make an appointment. Please select or inform the operator of our postal code (L3S3K3) when making an appointment, walk-ins will be accepted while vaccine supplies last; the bus can provide the first or second dose of the mRNA vaccine for people over 12 years old, and the third dose of mRNA vaccine for those eligible. - In person children worship (4 years of age or older) will be held at the church today. For attendees, please register at children.ccac.church. The online registration form will be available on every Thursday at 9am and closed on every Sunday at 8am. The number of people is limited. Please register in time.
- Rev. Darren Tsang will be on parental leave for six months starting from Feb 10, 2022.
- 2023 Elders Nomination Committee for 2 representatives from members. Nomination period: Jan 9 – Feb 27 (Sun). i) Qualification for Nomination Committee Members: 1) Must remain as voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election. 2) Must have continuously served in a church position for at least two years. ii) For nominating a Nomination Committee Member: 1) The nominator must be a member for at least two (2) years and be a voting member in the previous General Meeting. 2) The nomination must be seconded by another voting member, and submit in writing with 2 signatures of qualified church members, or in email with 2 email addresses of qualified church members to our Senior Pastor Rev. Brian Wong (brian.wong@ccac.church), who is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee. Note: this is different from qualification of Elder nominees.
