Bulletin for January 1, 2023
- May we be slow to anger and condemnation but be swift to respond in love, peace and forgiveness. May unity be our motto and love for one another be our utmost desire in this new year. Happy New Year!
- English Online Prayer Meeting will be on every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ZOOM1 (pw: 4757). Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.
- Today is Communion Sunday. Please prepare your heart to remember the Lord.
- Next week, our guest speaker is Rev. Benjamin Li.
- Next week during pastoral prayer, we will have the installation prayer for 2023 elders and deacons.
- If anyone has any expenses for 2022 that they would like to claim, please submit the claim form by Jan 15, 2023 (Sunday).
- The Christmas Food Drive is extended for one more week. Today, is the last day to bring all non-perishable foods to the church. Everything collected will be transported to the Toronto Alliance Church next week. Thank-you for your love and kindness towards those who are less fortunate than us!
- The English Service will stop streaming starting today. We hope that those who are still joining us online will be able to come in-person. We will still record the sermon and post it afterwards onto our church’s YouTube channel.
- December Board Resolution: i) It is resolved to make donation of $1000 to AWANA ii) It is resolved to make donation of $3,000 from Mission Fund to Toronto Alliance Church. iii) It is resolved to make donation of $1,500 from Mission Fund to Toronto Chinese Christian Short Term Mission Training Centre. iv) It is resolved to make donation of $1,000 from Mission Fund to Showers Of Blessing Evangelistic Ministry.
- The church office will be closed on Jan 2nd, 23 during New Year holiday.
- Rev. Daniel Tang will take vacation leave from Jan 3-8.
