- English Online Prayer Meeting will be on every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ZOOM1 (pw: 4757). Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.
- Next Sunday is Communion Sunday. Please prepare your heart to remember the Lord.
- Baptismal class will start in Feb. Those interested, please speak to Philip, Adi, or any of the pastors. Date to be determined.
- Rev. Darren Tsang is on sick leave today.
- Elder Board Resolution in Jan: i) It is resolved that the budget for the Volleyball ministry be no more than $1,500.00, and the trial period of the ministry will be 8:00pm – 10:00pm every Monday from Feb. 1 to July 31, 2023. ii) It is resolved to approve Rev. Joe Chan, Betty Kong, Philip Cheung, and Tiffany Lo be the Taiwan Vision Trip team members, and the budget of $3,500/person. iii) It is resolved to approve Rev. Brian Wong, Betty Kong, and David Chan to attend the 7th CAWF Conference in Manchester, and visit Chinese churches in England from March 11 – 20, 2023, and the budget of $4,000.00 per person.
- 2024 Elders Nomination Committee for 2 representatives from members. Nomination period: Jan 9 – Feb 27 (Sun). – Qualification for Nomination Committee Members:1) Must remain as voting member for at least two years immediately prior to the election.2) Must have continuously served in a church position for at least two years.- For nominating a Nomination Committee Member:1) The nominator must be a member for at least two (2) years and be a voting member in the previous General Meeting.2) The nomination must be seconded by another voting member, and submit in writing with 2 signatures of qualified church members, or in email with 2 email addresses of qualified church members to our Senior Pastor Rev. Brian Wong (brian.wong@ccac.church), who is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee. Note: this is different from qualification of Elder nominees.
