Bulletin for January 7, 2024

  • English Online Prayer Meeting will be on every Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ZOOM1 (pw: 4757). Information is on the church website. All are welcome to join.
  • Next week during pastoral prayer, we will have the installation prayer for 2024 elders and deacons.
  • English Congregation is scheduled to set up lunch and clean up next week. Please note and stay to help.
  • If anyone has any expenses for 2023 that they would like to claim, please submit the claim form by Jan 14, 2024 (Sunday).
  • If you are still unable to participate in the 35th anniversary photo event, January 14th is now added. If you are really unable to participate, you can email your family photos or personal photos to mark.leung1@gmail.com before February 1st.
  • The baby dedication prayer will be held during the Sunday service on February 18 next year. Babies aged 5 or under and parents who are members of the church can register at the following website. The deadline for registration is January 14 (Sunday) next year.
  • The next intensive course starts in January 2024 (Exact Date TBA), will be taught by Rev. Joe Chan on “World Religions, Cults, and Occult”. One must register here to attend the course. Minimum enrollment must be at least 3 people, maximum enrollment is 10 people. Please prayerfully consider your commitment, as reading and homework are involved as part of the commitment to attend this course.
  • Our church will be hosting the Mission Course “Kairos” every Saturday from Feb 17th to Apr 6th, 2024 from 2-5pm. The early bird discount registration fee is $99 until January 15th, and thereafter $125. Subsidies up to 50% is available to members of CCAC.  To register, please go to the following website.
  • Our church is currently hiring contract Cantonese assistant Pastor and English assistant Pastor. Please check the church website for details.
  • To protect the environment, you can bring your own tableware and dishes for lunch to reduce waste. You are welcome to make a free-will lunch donation, $8 per adult, $4 per child under the age of 12, (lunch donation is not included in the tax receipts).
  • Beginning with the General Meeting in March 2024, Member voting eligibility will be determined according to the requirements of the current church by-law’s “voting members”. Please be sure to sign in when you attend Sunday Service in order to fulfill the eligibility to vote in the future.
  • Offering through E-transfer is now available. From your bank’s website, you can donate via Interac e-Transfer within the transfer / payment menu option. No security question or password is required. Use the email account. In the “Message” section, please include your name, address, phone number, amount, and the offering accounts you would like to support. You can give to multiple funds in one transaction. (All undesignated donations will be allocated to the General Fund).
  • Rev. Darren Tsang will be away in Hong Kong from Jan. 15-26 to attend his paternal grandfather’s funeral.
