Prayer Requests: Day 1

In the coming several weeks, I’d like to introduce the spiritual needs of Taiwan, the prayer requests of the Taiwan STM team, and the prayer requests from individual members.

Taiwan (ROC) is a least reached people’s group (<2% Christian). In Baozhong (the township where the team will be ministering in, <1% Christian). Please see the chart. Many of the people in Taiwan live in spiritual darkness. They worship idols and ancestors. Pray that God would reveal His light to the lost people of Taiwan!

Also, I want to introduce one of our team members, Allen Chien. His family is originally from Taiwan. He is nearly finished with high school this year. He was baptized last year at Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church on June 4, 2017. And now, he wants to share his faith to those in Taiwan. Please see his prayer requests and pray for him.

Clarity/Acceptance in Changes

• Pray that I can have more trust in God and believe in him and ultimately understand that God has a plan for us
• Pray that he may give me patience and trust so that I may be less stressed

Purpose

• Pray that God would open up my heart and that I would understand why I’m going and my purpose in going

Safety

• We are going to a rural area in Taiwan, pray for our team’s safety and that we may have a great time and make it back alive
