Small Groups News: February – March

With the blessing of our Christ the Lord, the English congregation recently kicked off the second season of its Adult Small Group ministry. In the beginning of January, Rev. Joe led us in a joint meeting that discussed the focus and logistics of this year’s ministry. The focus of the ministry is to foster a predictable environment where members can build authentic relationships and experience spiritual growth in Christ. To begin the year, we have formed three smalls groups that are gathered weekly on either Wednesday or Friday night. In the next few months, material from RightNow Media will be used to study the topic of Community: Starting Well, the book of Galatians, and the book of James. Additionally, we will also hold a monthly joint gathering with all the members/newcomers in order to foster the growth of our community as a whole.

Prayer Items

1. Foster an environment conducive to open communication and accountability
2. Nurture small group members to grow in God’s Word and live an authentic life led by the Holy Spirit
3. Spiritual and physical strength for the small group leaders to lead each group
