Youth Ministry: December News

Without a doubt, this has been a challenging year. Yet there comes a time at the end of every year where Christians are united to look forward with hope to remember and celebrate the coming of God in the flesh, through Jesus, to save broken humanity. Indeed, it’s this hope that allows us to press on and persevere despite every trial and challenge we face. Even as things may look and seem bleak now, we know that there is ultimate goodness to come for those who are held fast in the arms of Christ. Friends, I encourage you to look forward with all love, hope, joy, and peace as we enter this Christmas season! While we may not be able to gather for our regular festivities, our firm foundation in Christ doesn’t change!

As we wrap up the year, here’s what’s coming in our youth groups this month.

Themelios Winter Camp
While I’m sure this comes as no surprise to anyone, I’m still saddened to officially announce that the Themelios Winter Camp is cancelled for this December. Depending on the progression of the pandemic, we hope that we would be able to reschedule it for a later date but as of now, we’ll have to go our first year without one. Sorry!

Church News

In-Person English Worship
As of this newsletter, in accordance with our government’s laws and safety measures, our 9:30 am English worship service remains open. We take great care in ensuring everyone’s wellbeing so that anyone who comes through our doors may feel comfortable and safe. For those who would like to join our in-person service, please pre-register at ccac.church/eng. Registration opens every Thursday.

Christmas Joint Service
In lieu of our usual Joint Christmas Eve Service, we’ll be having a Joint Christmas SUNDAY Service instead. This will be held on Sunday, December 20 at 10:30 am. As of now, this service will be made available both for in-person and online worship. Registration will be required for in-person attendance.

Blessings,

Pastor Darren
