Youth Ministry: December News
As we come into another season of Advent, I hope you and your family are doing well. In the Christian calendar, this is a wonderful time to re-center yourself and your family around Christ again. There’s nothing as humbling as remembering that God Almighty actually lowered himself to take on human form, as a baby, to walk among us, serve us, and ultimately die for us so that we might have life through him. What an act of grace towards us underserving people! May this season bring you fresh reminders and experiences of the love, hope, peace, and joy that our God freely offers to us through his Son, Jesus.

Themelios Retreat (Dec 26-28)
For those attending retreat, please be reminded that there’s no dinner the first night (Mon, Dec 26) and you must arrive by 6:00 pm sharp at CCAC for the bus. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Otherwise please refer to the registration form for more information.
Free Counselling Services
Did you know that York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families offers free counselling services for any children and youth (0-18) and their caregivers? If you need someone to talk to about problems at school, parenting concerns, relationship issues, or mental health issues, you can walk-in or phone-in during their free consultation hours. Church News
Joint Baptism Service | Sunday, December 11, 10:30 am
This upcoming Sunday is a joint baptism service. Please note that service will start at 10:30 am instead. Come and witness the baptisms of nine of our brothers and sisters.
Christmas Eve Service | Saturday, December 24, 7:00 pm
Come and join for worship as we celebrate Christ’s coming. All are welcome!
Fitness | 1st and 3rd Fridays, 6:15 – 7:15 pm
Want to get fit but can’t afford a gym membership? Jeremy and Philemon are starting a workout time for any youth who’d be interested in getting fit before fellowship. This will be a safe and fun time to sweat and also to invite your friends. For more information, please contact either of them.
