Youth Ministry: February News

A Happy Lunar New Year to you and your family! I hope you’ve been able to enjoy some meaningful and quality time with your family in this season. While we might not be able to go out and have big gatherings with family at restaurants, I hope that you’ve still been able to make the most of this time with those around you! 

I wanted to take this opportunity to give a quick update for the months ahead. If you didn’t know already, my wife and I are expecting our first kid next week. As such, I’m going to be taking some time away from the ministry in order to focus on my family. Lord willing, our newborn will be here on February 10 and then I’ll be taking about six months of parental leave. 

In terms of the ministry though, no need to worry about anything, everything will go on as usual. All our regular ministries of 412, Themelios, and youth Sunday school will go on just as always. I’m grateful to our amazing team of leaders who will continue to manage things in my absence. 

Should you need anything while I’m away though, please feel free to reach out to any of our counsellors or leaders. Jeremy is our Youth Deacon, Cecilia is our Youth Elder, and for anything else, there’s always Pastor Joe. 

But even while I’m away, I’m sure I’ll still see you around. CCAC is still my home church so I’ll still be around most Sundays once things settle down after the first little while.
