Youth Ministry: June News

Summer is almost here! For the many students, this is the time of preparation before exams. For some, this is a more “relaxed” time because there’s no more classes. For others, this is the most stressful time because of the pressure of the exams. No matter which scenario is the case, I want to encourage all of us to focus on finishing the school year to the glory of God. Ultimately, all that we do is an act of worship. And in light of what I preached this past Sunday, I hope that you’d all be still contemplating what it means to live a life as a living sacrifice per Romans 12:1-2 and in view of Judah and Christ’s example of sacrifice.

But on that note, to the youth, returning to the point that the exam season can be an exceedingly stressful time. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and need to talk, don’t be afraid to come talk to me or any of the other counsellors. Or better yet, talk to your parents about it!

Parents, would you join me in praying for our students in this season. Pray that their work would be glorifying to God and that the Spirit would be shaping them in all that they have to deal with as they finish this final few weeks of school.

 412 Summer Break!

Take note! For the months of July and August, 412 will be on summer break. We’ll be looking to restart again in September with the new school year. Enjoy the break! Our last two meetups will be this Friday (June 14) and June 28. Hope you can make it out!

But wait! In lieu of the Friday break, please note that we’ll be splitting our Sunday School classes for the summer so that 412 will still be meeting, though in a slightly different way, on Sundays instead.

Apart from that, here’s what’s happening for the rest of June.
