Youth Ministry: May News

I hope you’re doing well amidst our ongoing trial. As we continue to press on, I pray that you would be able to encounter the presence of Jesus in tangible and meaningful ways as he enables you to endure and persevere. May our faith increase even in times of trouble as we’re turned to taste and see the goodness of God. As challenging as the times are, I pray that you would most certainly be able to taste and see the goodness of our God.

Even as our church is still closed, our ministries and our operations are not. If there are needs that you’re facing, please don’t hesitate to reach out. There’s no shame in it. Remember, our entire life’s testimony is a giant cry to help to our Heavenly Father for rescue! So if there’s shame in needing help, may I (and all of us) be the most ashamed. But God is good in his gracious help towards us!

And he is indeed! We’ve now been able to launch 412 Online as well and they’ll be running every other week. Just as with Themelios, we encourage folks to invite friends. This is a great opportunity to invite those who would otherwise never step foot into a physical church building or would be otherwise unable to because of various logistics.

So as we continue to press on in these peculiar times, here’s what we’re going to keep on with if the Lord tarries.

Date 412 Fellowship Themelios
May 1 412 Hangout Grad Night
May 8 Book Talk
May 15 412 Hangout Bible Study
May 22 A-Group Battles
May 29 412 Hangout

All programs will be held online.

GRADE 12 TRANSITIONS: SMALL GROUPS!

Every year, we transition our Grade 12 students over to join our post-secondary small groups ministry ahead of their actual graduations. One of the main reasons we do this is to bridge our graduating students to those who are already ahead of them in the post-secondary world. This offers a chance for our graduates to familiarize themselves with the next stage of life and also to receive some informal mentorship which will help prepare them for the change ahead.

So, I’d like to invite all Grade 12 students to join us in this small group on Saturdays starting at 8:00 pm. Go to livestreams.ccac.church for the Zoom link to join. Also join our Facebook group for details!

OTHER MINISTRIES

Even as the world may be brought to a stand still. The Church presses on in resiliency by the grace of God. Join us in these online ministries. Again, go to livestreams.ccac.church for all the links (I hope you’re seeing a pattern by now for where to get the latest info!).

Blessings,

Pastor Darren
