Happy Reformation Month! Click here if you don’t know what the Reformation is or just want to see a cool video that explains it! I’m going to keep this letter short this month because I’m actually on vacation now but I still want to keep you all in the loop. Jackie and I will be road-tripping to New York tomorrow and I won’t be back in the office again until Wednesday, October 10. See you when I get back!

YOUTH NEWS

Change Conference – October 12-13 @ Church on the Queensway, Toronto
“For 14 years the Change Conference has been INSPIRING and EMPOWERING young people to engage in a relationship with Jesus Christ in order to transform their life and their world.” While we won’t be going as a fellowship on the Friday night, we do plan to go together if there’s enough interest for the Saturday conference. The Saturday conference runs from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. Send me a message if you’re interested. See full details here, changeconference.com.

Two-Day Parenting Seminar – October 14 (1:30 pm – 3:30 pm) and October 27 (10:00 am – 3:30 pm) 
Hosted by our church’s family ministry, there will be a two-day workshop on how to overcome misunderstandings, improve communication, and strengthen bonds between youths and parents. For further information and registration, please go to family.ccac.church or talk to Joyce Wong or Gia Suen.

Vacation Alerts
I will be away on vacation from Monday, October 1 to Wednesday, October 9 and then again from Monday, October 29 to Monday, November 12. Pastor Joe will be away from Friday, October 12 to Sunday, October 28.
