Youth Ministry: September News

Hi Everyone,

The new school year is upon us! For students, this is you usually a dreaded time; but for parents, this is usually a joyous time as it clears the house once again. Whichever camp you’re in, I pray that God is walking with you in this time of transition.

As a kid, Septembers were always an anxiety-filled time for me. I was always nervous about going back to school because of the many changes that I knew I’d have to face. But for those who are transitioning to junior high as new grade 7 students, or to high school as new grade 9 students, or to postsecondary; this is an especially sensitive time of change because of it being a new school or city altogether. Thus, I feel that it’s of utmost importance to be remembering our young people in prayer in this season of change.

For all of you in transition, I pray that God would grant you peace and that he would continue the work in your hearts to give you soul-comforting assurance of his presence with you.

For those transitioning to Grade 7 — 412 Fellowship, welcome! If I haven’t had a chance to personally meet you yet, please stop me the next time we pass by in the halls. For your information, I’ve also put together a mini info sheet for your quick reference and introduction to the English/Youth Ministry.

For those transitiong to Grade 9 — Themelios Fellowship, welcome! Your first night in Themelios will be on September 3!
